Announcing July 23 Community Meeting

Please mark your calendars for our next community meeting (aka general meeting) on Tuesday, July 23 at 7pm at the Calvary Church at 3516 NE 71st Ave. The theme of our meeting will be Roseway Outside, highlighting the current and planned projects and improvements to Greater Roseway’s outdoor spaces. Topics will include:

• The current design and plans for the Roseway Parkway Plaza

• Pollinator patches, tree watering, tree inventory, and other work in the parkway

• Rose City Bluff Restoration and Rose City Golf Course Trail

• Roseway Heights garden project

• Rose City Park Elementary School playground site plan (many Roseway students go to RCP)

Collectively, these and other projects are creating more outdoor spaces for neighbors to gather, shade to make our spaces cooler and more welcoming, habitat for wildlife large and small, education for children and adults, and reducing pavement and urban heat island effort.

We want to hear your ideas, thoughts, and feedback! We will have time for Q&A for these topics and overall discussion.

We encourage people to join in person, but it will also be available via Zoom.

• Time: 7:00-9:00pm

• In-person location: Calvary Church at 3516 NE 71st Ave (enter through the double-glass doors off of 71st). Please try to arrive before 7pm.
