Emergency Preparedness
In a disaster, your most immediate source of help are the neighbors living around you.
Roseway Prepares is made up of neighbors (both NET-trained and not) interested in getting Roseway better prepared for disaster and emergency situations. However, you don’t have to be a part of the group to make a difference. You can stock up on emergency basics or create a plan for your household—every little bit helps!
Here are some actions you can take starting today:
Stay Informed. Read up on emergency preparedness in our city and sign up to get alerts
Gather supplies. Build a disaster preparedness kit with this 24-week shopping list
Make plans to know where to go and how to communicate
Know your home. Learn where your household utilities (water, electricity, gas) are located and how to shut them off
Connect with your neighbors! Build strong social connections to help prepare
