Community and Board Meeting - Sep 12 - New Location!

Please mark your calendars for our next community and board meetings on Tuesday, September 12 from 7:00-9:00pm. For the foreseeable future, we will meet at Recovery Café Roseway at 3516 NE 71st Ave.
At the community meeting, we will hear from Nikki Mandell about the health and safety issues associated with the Critical Energy Infrastructure Hub located along the Willamette River, and the risks to Roseway and other neighborhoods that are within the path of oil freight traffic. Other topics include:
The impact of the adopted district map to Roseway
The plan for a walking path around the Rose City Golf Course
An update on our upcoming emergency preparedness ice cream social
A recap of our recent events and projects
A preview of our board elections, which will be held during October’s community/general meeting
As always, we would like to hear your neighborhood joys and concerns.
All are welcome at our meeting. We encourage you to join us in person. You may also join via Zoom. After the community meeting we will have our board meeting, which you are welcome to stay for.
Meeting Details
When: Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 7:00pm. The community meeting portion typically runs until 7:45 or 8:00pm.
In-person location: Recovery Café Roseway at 3516 NE 71st Ave (enter through the double-doors off of Fremont). Please try to arrive before 7pm. After that, we will post a number that you can text to be let in.
