Announcing April Board and Community Meetings

On April 9 at 7pm, we will have a board meeting. The meeting will focus on preparation for the upcoming Earth Day event on Apr 20 and our community meeting on April 23. We will also discuss funding of events and sponsorships, board DEI training, and the potential impact of the Portland Diamond Project on Roseway and surrounding neighborhoods.

Also, please mark your calendars for our next community meeting (aka general meeting) on April 23 at 7pm at the Calvary Church at 3516 NE 71st Ave. The two main topics will be upcoming PBOT projects and public safety concerns with recent shots fired around Wellington Park. The PBOT projects will include the greenways along the 72nd Ave parkway and on Mason St, the plans for a plaza at the intersection of those two greenways, and the Building a Better 82nd Ave project. The public safety discussion will include a Q&A with a Portland Police officer. We encourage people to join in person, but it will also be available via Zoom.
