A successful community cleanup!

On August 27, the Roseway Neighborhood Association held its biggest fundraiser of the year, our community cleanup event. The community cleanup allowed over 150 neighbors to clear out junk from their yards, sheds, garages, and residences. We collected 6.9 tons of bulky waste, over 600 cubic feet of electronics and scrap metal. Thanks to grants from OCCL and Metro, we netted over $2,800 to be used for neighborhood projects in the coming year.

Thanks to over 30 volunteers for helping make this event successful.

Keep the cleanup in mind the next time you see junk accumulating in your household. It's a great way to clear out space! We plan to have our next cleanup in May of 2023.

We look forward to your input on how we use the funds we raised. Please consider coming to our next association meeting and consider joining our board. While any Roseway resident or business owner may become a member of the association, board directors steer the priorities for the association.
