Announcing March Board Meeting and April Community Meeting

In case you missed it, the Roseway Neighborhood Association has a new schedule for its meetings. The new schedule lets us have larger quarterly meetings dedicated to the topics that are most important to the neighborhood. For instance, our January community meeting discussed our new city district and hosted a candidate forum. Our board meetings are also open to the public, but are more focused on the activities of the association.

On March 12 at 7pm, we will have a board meeting. The meeting will focus on board orientation, DEI training, planning for the April community meeting, and whether to endorse additional PBOT projects.

Also, mark your calendars for our next community meeting (aka general meeting) on April 23 at 7pm. The two main topics will be upcoming PBOT projects and recent shootings around Wellington Park. The PBOT projects will include the greenways along the 72nd Ave parkway and on Mason St, the plans for a plaza at the intersection of those two greenways, and the Building a Better 82nd Ave project. The location of this meeting is TBD but it will also be available via Zoom.

To see all RNA meetings and other events of interest, go to our calendar. We hope to see you soon!
